August 29 – 5th Grade Football Parking (First Fundraiser of the Year)
We hope everyone’s first week back has been great! It’s been wonderful seeing our halls full of energy and excitement again. We have a couple of important events coming up that we don’t want you to miss.
Back to School Night – August 27, 4:00–5:50 PM Back to School Night is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, step inside their classrooms, and get a feel for what their day-to-day learning looks like. Teachers will share classroom routines, expectations, and plans for the year so families can better understand how to support students at home.
This evening is about connection—between teachers and families, and between our school and community. We encourage all parents to attend!
First Big Fundraiser of the Year
First Up: 5th Grade – August 29 Football Parking is back! Just like last year, each grade will take a turn running parking for a home game. First up is our 5th grade crew on August 29th! sign up here
This is our biggest fundraiser of the entire year, bringing in about 90% of the PTA’s yearly funds. These funds make so many of our programs possible—from classroom supplies to field trips and special events.
The best part? Families are already signing up to volunteer—thank you! We still have spots available, and every helping hand makes a huge difference.
Extra Fun(d)raising This Year!We’re adding something new for 2025: each grade will get the chance to create its own “extra money-making moment” during football parking. This could be selling bottled water, team koozies, game-day snacks, or other parking-friendly extras. All extra money earned will go directly to that grade’s class, so students can help raise funds for their own activities and projects. It’s a fun way for kids to get involved, show school spirit, and help boost the total for the day.
School Supply Fund Donations If you haven’t had a chance yet to contribute to our School Supply Fund, the link is still live! Every donation—big or small—goes directly toward making sure our classrooms are well-stocked and our teachers have what they need for a successful year.
