Our Mission · Nuestra misión

Why we exist.

Since 1906, University Hill Elementary has been an academic experience unlike any other — Boulder's oldest bilingual school, 50/50 English and Spanish from kindergarten through fifth grade. The PTA exists so that every student here can find their superpowers: we fund the classrooms, throw the fiestas, welcome every family, and knock down every barrier we can reach — in two languages, with all the heart we've got.

Community

Uni Hill runs more like a family than an organization — staff, parents, kids and neighbors, all in it together.

Compassion

A student-first philosophy that starts with deep understanding and care for each individual kid.

Unbiased

We serve no agenda other than what benefits our students. There is no "one" path — not in life, not in our classrooms.

Challenge

Our dynamic student body inspires a challenger mindset — always asking how we can be different, or better.
